We arrived around 11 pm, so just the right time to still find a table and order some drinks. There were quite a few people there for its soft opening, which is always a good sign, and yet not too many people so we had to wait to order. The service was great, with servers coming around our table every 10 minutes or so and the prices weren’t too shabby either. Definitely cheaper than the typical Uptown bar. The cozy atmosphere provided dim lighting and lounge areas that would make a good place for intimate conversation. The covered patio might have been bigger than the entire inside and provided pool tables as well as picnic tables to seat many at a time. This Texas heat limited my time spent on the patio but come fall, it will make a great spot to enjoy with friends.
Located at Ross and 75, Three Sheets is easy to get to and out of the way of both the Uptown and Downtown traffic. You have to valet as the parking lot is tiny, but it’s only $5 (compared to Uptown bar’s sometimes outrageous $10, that’s a steal). I was also told they would soon be serving pizza and the brick oven behind the bar is a sign this is probably a legit fact. Overall, Three Sheets impressed me, and I look forward to hearing more about it in the future.
